    Ensuring precision and consistency across these large and varied components is critical, as even minor errors can affect the structural integrity and overall project quality. The client sought a solution that could accelerate production, maintain high welding accuracy, and handle large, custom components efficiently.


    Solution Implemented
     

    To meet the client’s need for high-volume and precise welding of large and unique industrial hall components, an industrial welding robot with a 500A water-cooled power source and torch cleaner, 2000mm reach was selected. This setup allowed the client to achieve high throughput across multiple large parts while ensuring consistent quality.

    For custom and one-off components, the RI 3D CodeFree Welding System was implemented. Using vision-guided laser tracking and the ability to import 3D designs (Digital Twin), the system can automatically detect variations in parts, plan optimal welding paths, and adjust in real time. Key features include one-click weld extraction, automatic technique matching, and auto-calibration, enabling rapid production with minimal manual intervention.

    The system also integrates cloud connectivity and digital production monitoring, allowing management to track equipment status, monitor multiple welding tasks, and optimize workflow. With built-in technique libraries, even operators without extensive programming experience can maintain stable, high-quality welds, while the system supports multi-pass, continuous, T-joint, and butt-joint welding, making it versatile across all types of structural steel components.
