Cleaning Robot – Automotive production & deposit area

Client Overview

The project was developed for a leading global automotive supplier with operations in Romania. The company is a major player in the automotive industry, specializing in the production of advanced vehicle components, including interior systems, electronics, and clean mobility solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainable technologies, it operates multiple production and R&D facilities in Romania, contributing significantly to the local automotive supply chain and delivering high-quality solutions to major vehicle manufacturers worldwide.

Initial Situation

The client needed to clean approximately 2,000 m² daily, covering both warehouse and production areas. At the start, cleaning was outsourced to an external company, but the results were not entirely satisfactory. The client wanted a solution that could be monitored online, generate detailed reports, and, most importantly, be compact and maneuverable, without occupying entire aisles like traditional cleaning machines. Finding a robot that could meet these requirements while maintaining high cleaning standards was the main challenge.

Solution Implemented

The solution implemented was our CleanX R-3 cleaning robot, a fully autonomous machine capable of sweeping, washing, scrubbing, and vacuuming. With an efficiency of 400–700 m² per hour, the robot was designed to cover the areas of both warehouse and production spaces while remaining compact and maneuverable, ensuring it does not obstruct aisles. Its autonomous operation and integrated monitoring system allow the client to track cleaning activities in real time and generate detailed reports, providing a reliable and highly efficient alternative to traditional cleaning methods.

Results

The implementation of the CleanX R-3 robot brought major improvements to the client’s cleaning process. The robot can now be deployed on-demand, especially during evening hours, and can be sent to specific areas that require attention. The client is satisfied with the real-time reports, which provide complete visibility on cleaning activities, including the areas covered and the level of cleanliness achieved. Thanks to the robot, the client no longer relies on external cleaning services for aisle maintenance, resulting in greater efficiency, control, and a consistently clean and safe working environment.
