RI WD Trolley Welding Station: Mobile Cobot Welding
Roll the cobot to the workpiece and weld large parts on site – no fixed cell, no programmer.
- 11 m reach
- 240 kg
- MIG/MAG 350/500 A
- ±0.03 mm
Fast worldwide delivery · Technical support and integration
Robotic welding brought to the workpiece, anywhere on the shop floor.
RI WD Trolley combines a 6-axis cobot, welding power source and wire feeder on a compact trolley. The wire feeder can be positioned up to 9 m from the trolley and the arm up to 2 m from the feeder, so large frames and beams are welded in place, without being moved.
Large projects, limited skilled labour, firm deadlines
Demand for steel structures keeps rising, while skilled welders are increasingly hard to recruit.
Skilled welders are scarce
Every project waits for the same few people.
Big parts don't fit in a cell
Beams and frames are too large to move into a fixed robot cell.
The robot is brought to the part
Roll the trolley next to the workpiece and weld with 11 m of reach.
Full flexibility in the workshop and on site

11 m of reach
The 9 m wire feeder plus the 2 m arm cover long seams on large workpieces.
- Built for steel structures
- Customisable size
Move it in minutes
240 kg with the gas cylinder, on wheels; it even fits in a van to go to another site.
- Quick changes of work position
- Works where floor space is limited
No programmer needed
Intuitive interface and visual positioning with real-time path simulation.
- Straight, corner and diagonal seams
- Saved welding parameters
The same weld, every time
Repeatability up to ±0.03 mm and multi-layer, multi-pass welding.
- Circumferential, weaving, intermittent, fillet
Lower investment, safe operation
No enclosure and no extra panels – only what is needed to weld. Collision sensors stop the arm when needed.
- IP54 protection
- Cobot: RI or JAKA
Designed for large-scale steel structures
Steel structures
Branch welding on steel structure lines: beams, columns, frames.
Long seams without moving the partBridges and heavy fabrication
Laminated welding for bridge steel structures and other heavy parts.
Consistent multi-pass seamsLight steel and tube frames
Light steel production lines and tube frames, with fast changeover between tasks.
Fast changeover between partsJob shops and small batches
Small and medium shops where every week brings different parts.
One robot for many jobsUp and running in 4 simple steps
Position the station
Roll it to the part or place the part on the table.
Teach the seam
Guide the torch by hand or use visual positioning; the path is simulated in real time.
Set parameters
Choose the welding mode and save the parameters for this part.
Weld and repeat
The cobot welds; the next identical part uses the same program.

What customers ask us
How much does the RI WD Trolley cost?
The price depends on the configuration: cobot, welding source and options. Send us your part or drawing and we reply with an offer.
Do I need a robot programmer?
No. The interface is intuitive: you guide the torch or use visual positioning, and the path is simulated before welding. We train your team.
Is it safe next to people?
Yes. Laser radar, infrared and force sensors detect collisions in real time; the arm rebounds or stops instantly.
How far can it reach?
Up to 11 m: the wire feeder can be 9 m from the trolley and the arm 2 m from the feeder.
Can I move it between sites?
Yes. It weighs 240 kg with the cylinder, runs on wheels and fits in a van.
Do you deliver and install abroad?
Yes. We deliver quickly worldwide and provide technical support and integration with your production.
Can I test it on my parts?
Send us a drawing or a sample; we check the seams and recommend the right setup.
Have large parts waiting for a welder?
Send us a drawing or a photo and we will tell you if the Trolley fits and send an offer.
